The BRESSER Science MTL 201 is a special incident light microscope that allows the observation of non-translucent surfaces at higher magnifications (50x-800x). Ideal areas of application for this very solidly manufactured instrument are metallography (e.g. micrographs of metals and alloys), mineralogy, precision mechanics, electronics and the semiconductor industry; it is suitable for the fields of scientific research and teaching as well as industrial production (e.g. quality control). The MTL 201over a very large object table (250 mm x 230 mm), which can be roughly moved with a handle bar and finely with a transverse and longitudinal drive. Coarse adjustment and fine adjustment (coaxial; approx. 70 ?m / revolution) are available for perfect focusing. The incident light illumination by means of a halogen bulb (20 W) with adjustable light intensity takes place through the lens. A centerable luminous field diaphragm, a selection of filters (yellow, green, blue, matt) and a polarizer / analyzer combination are available to the observer. The fivefold revolver is equipped with plan achromatic DIN objectives (5x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 80x). The trinocular microscope head carries the 30 ? inclined eyepiece socket and the photo tube. The wide-field eyepieces (WF10x) can be adjusted in terms of interpupillary distance and diopter difference. The photo tube enables digital image recording, for example via an optionally available PC eyepiece. Further optional accessories: eyepiece (WF16x), measuring eyepiece (WF10x), plan achromatic objective (50x).
